Apparently most adults are skipping fruits and veggies nowadays, according to the survey, the consumption is dropping compare with the figures from 2000. Only 1/3 adults ate fruits or drank fruit juice at least twice a day; 26% ate veggies three times a day.
All states failed to meet the federal goals - to make 3/4 Americans eat enough fruits and veggies. The good news is California top the nation for eating most fruits while Tennessee took the lead on the veggies side.

美國成人蔬果攝取量未達標準
每日五份蔬果看似簡單,但是大部份的美國成人卻沒有做到。根據最新統計報告,只有三分之一的人每天吃兩份水果(或果汁)、攝取三份蔬菜的人只有26%,所有州屬都未能達到聯邦政府訂下的75%目標。
所以各位要以身作則,如果想要你的小孩也攝取均衡的飲食,一定要確保自己每天也吃五份的蔬果喔!
