Try the remedies

When I came down with cold not too long ago, my friend told me to boil some coke with slices of ginger, drink when it's hot, and guess what, I did feel better! I don't like to take medicines, especially the pills and syrup (regardless if they were prescript or over the counter). Moreover, a good friend of mine experienced life-threatening case from drug-poisoning/overdoses - so, I really want to avoid taking any western medicines.

Instead, I like to go with the alternative choices, such as Chinese herbs and teas, remedies etc. The WHO estimates that over 65% of the world's population (about 3 billion people) rely on natural medicine as their primary form of healthcare.
