I'm SO FULL now! Had a wonderful Malaysian cuisine dinner at
Yazmin with great friends. The food was pretty good, more importantly my friends and I spent time together for the great cause - 15% of the proceeds tonight go to
PALS for Health's language services!
Honestly, I LOVE Malaysian food. However, it's hard to find good Malaysian food here in LA. Don't get me wrong, I'm just picky and tried to compare the food here with those at home. Maybe because for the past 2 years I had the chance to go home and ate like hungry ghost, so when I came back to LA, I didn't go to any of the Malaysian restaurants. For those who didn't have the chance or have never been to Malaysia, well, the food at Yazmin is pretty good.
Anyway, I was glad to know PALS was going to have another fundraising event at Yazmin, so I could take the chance to introduce Malaysian food to my friends, or just spent good time together while supporting such a great organization. There were 9 of us, and here are what we ordered: (not suggested for hungry or starving person)
