My first trip to NYC was back in New Year eve of Y2K, a few of us drove from NC and spent a few days in NYC. I didn't enjoy it that much because during the winter, the sky gets dark early and we have to wear layers of winter coats. My 2nd trip to NYC was during the spring break of 2000. The international student office at CU organized a trip to Philly, we get bored by the 4th day and decided to take the train and headed north to the Big Apple. It was only a day trip, didn't get to see much but happy that we had the chance to step into the World Trade Center (we missed you twin towers).
Anyway, I'm looking forward to the trip in April and glad to find this 40 free attractions in New York City on the Lonely Planet website, will have to take a closer look at it and choose the attractions I want to visit.
