SoCal activities 3/12-13

It's a sad day leading to the weekend. The devastating 8.9 magnitude earthquake rocked Japan and shocked the world (how to help the victims). While we pray for the people in Japan, we should also get ready, be prepared ourselves. We don't know when the major earthquake will hit us here, but we certain can take action to minimize the impact on us when it happens.

It's going to be a sunny nice weather weekend. Despite the tsunami advisory/warning for our coast, there are plenty of other things to do if you don't already have a plan.

  1. LA St. Pattys Fest, 3/12 - $100, LA
  2. St. Patrick's Day Parade, 3/12 - free, Hermosa Beach
  3. Annual Festival of Whales, 3/12-13 - free, Dana Point
  4. Spring Festival Celebration, 3/12 - free, Cerritos College, Norwalk
  5. Teen Party Expo, 3/13 - $10, LA Convention Center
  6. Woofstock 90210, 3/13 - free, Beverly Hills
  7. Celebrate Pat Nixon's & the Girl Scout's 99th Birthday, 3/13 - free, Nixon Library, Yorba Linda
  8. Annual Festival of the Kite, 3/13 - free, Redondo Beach
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
