While the US economy is headed further into recovery, not every industry is performing well. According to an IBISWorld's study, about 200 industries are in their decline phase over the last decade, and the top 10 are:

  1. apparel manufacturing  -77.1%
  2. record stores  -76.3%
  3. manufactured home dealers  -73.7%
  4. photofinishing  -69.1%
  5. wired telecommunications carriers  -54.9%
  6. mills  -50.2%
  7. newspaper publishing  -35.9%
  8. dvd, game & video rental  -35.7%
  9. formal wear and costume rental  -35%
  10. video postproduction services  -24.9%
