  1. one time each day: eat a high-protein breakfast - researches found people who added protein-rich eggs at breakfast experienced greater fullness throughout the day; dieters who dined on eggs at their morning meal lost more weight and reported more energy
  2. two times each day: spice things up - adding spicy seasonings to meals suppresses your appetite and slightly revs your metabolism
  3. three times each day: sip on iced or hot green tea before or with meals - fills you up with liquid volume which takes the edge off your hunger so you eat less food; green tea can also slightly rev your metabolism, just don't add sugar
  4. four cups of vegetables must be eaten throughout the day - embrace non-starchy vegetables, such as broccoli, spinach, carrots, cauliflower, green beans, and bell peppers are rich in fiber and water
  5. five times each day: do a set of 100 jumping jacks - you'll burn about 100 calories doing 500 jumping jacks a day, and it only takes about 2 minutes to knock out each set of 100 jacks, so that's 10 minutes total for the day

  1. head to the hills - ski resorts are cheaper during summer, you can go for hiking, mountain biking or other summer activities

  4. try the Gulf - a year after the oil spill crisis, local hotel rates are still lower than they have been

通過飲食改善10個低迷時刻

生活不如意,身體或心理就會受到損傷,此時應該好好善待自己,「飲食修復」非常關鍵。

1、壓力過大時應該吃:1杯低脂酸奶或2湯匙混合堅果。酸奶是賴氨酸最好的食物來源之一,堅果富含精氨酸。賴氨酸和精氨酸能減少你的擔憂。
不該喝:碳酸飲料。《美國公共衛生雜誌》刊登的研究發現,每天喝2.5罐碳酸飲料會導致抑鬱和焦慮增加3倍。

2、感覺悲傷時應該吃:菠菜沙拉。甜菜和菠菜等綠葉蔬菜富含B族維生素,有利於血清素、多巴胺和去甲腎上腺素等“好感覺激素”的生成。
不該吃:白巧克力。白巧克力不算真正意義上的巧克力,其中不含固體可可粉。白巧克力無法像黑巧克力一樣刺激“好感覺激素”的生成。

3、肥胖時應該吃:少進食含熱量高的食物,蔬菜和水果含熱量低,是肥胖者較為理想的食物。新鮮的蔬菜和水果富含維生素和纖維素,對肥胖者非常有益。 在水果蔬菜淡季不能滿足需要時,可多吃粗糧、豆類及海洋蔬菜如海帶、海藻等。還吃這類食物時應配合給維生素製劑。
不該吃:濃湯和多鹽零食。食物過鹹,喝水就多,胃部就會變成一個“水皮球”。因此,鹽焗堅果、薯片等多鹽食物應儘量避免。
 
4、能量不足時應該吃:什錦果仁。葡萄幹提供的鉀有助於身體將糖轉化成能量。堅果富含鎂,鎂對新陳代謝、神經功能及肌肉功能都極其重要。
不該喝:濃咖啡飲料。雖然咖啡因有提神作用,但是咖啡中的大量糖分則會使血糖升高,不利健康。

5、需提高腦力時應該吃:藍莓。藍莓中的多種抗氧化劑有助於保護大腦免受自由基損傷,進而降低老年癡呆症和帕金森症的危險。
不該吃:冰淇淋。甜食會使體內葡萄糖含量大起大落,導致注意力分散。

6、需要增加睡眠時應該吃:脫脂爆米花。睡前一個小時吃一袋脫脂爆米花,有助身體產生讓人體放鬆的神經化學物質———血清素。
不該喝:咖啡因飲料。咖啡因過量會擾亂睡眠,抑制免疫功能,更容易患感冒、上呼吸道感染等疾病。
  
7、需保持清醒時應該吃:雞蛋+全麥麵包。雞蛋是蛋白質的很好來源,早餐吃雞蛋,全天有精神。美國聖路易斯大學研究人員發現,與早餐吃奶油乾酪的人相比,早餐吃雞蛋的人每天少攝入264卡路裏的熱量。
不該吃:餅乾+奶油乾酪。這種早餐含熱量500卡路裏、脂肪20克、碳水化合物60克。

8、醉酒後應該喝:橙汁。橙汁中的果糖使酒精代謝加速25%。其中的維生素C也有助於防止醉酒後的細胞受損。
不該喝:碳酸飲料。二氧化碳會使醉酒的感覺更嚴重。
 
9、身體感覺不太舒服時應該吃:人參茶(冷熱皆可)。加拿大一項研究發現,每天攝入400毫克人參會使感冒幾率降低25%。人參有助於增加體內關鍵免疫細胞,從而殺滅入侵病毒。
不該喝:咖啡因飲料。咖啡因過量會擾亂睡眠,抑制免疫功能,更容易患感冒、上呼吸道感染等疾病。
  
10、想保持年輕時應該吃:葵花子。葵花子堪稱是食物中的“維生素E之王”,最能抗擊自由基,抗皺防衰。
不該吃:奶油蛋糕。奶油蛋糕裏含有的反式脂肪酸是健康的大敵,會加速身體的衰老。

Who doesn't use social media nowadays? OK, my parents don't. But hey, I'm talking about 'us,' if you're reading this, I'm sure you use some sort of social media, facebook, twitter, msn, blog just to name a few. Social media has become part of our lives, a very important part of our lives, when it is that important, we all should pay attention to the privacy and safety measures. Know before you go - different greeting customs

When meeting associates in the U.S., a firm handshake is preferred, but when traveling abroad, it's a different story. Here are a few ways you might be greeted by others when doing business abroad:

China
While the western handshake is accepted, it is performed with a lighter grip and a pumping motion. Chinese also lower their eyes slightly as a sign of respect when meeting someone. Staring into their eyes can be perceived as a sign of disrespect.

Japan
Both handshaking and bowing are accepted forms of greeting in international business circles, so take your lead from the person you are meeting. If shaking hands, do so lightly. If you are greeted with a bow, respond by bowing in kind.

Russia
Russians usually use a firm (sometimes very firm) handshake when meeting a guest. If you've met the person before don't be surprised if the greeting includes a hug. Russian men customarily kiss their guest's cheeks (men and women alike) while women reserve such intimacies for other Russians and simply shake hands with foreigners.

France
Shake hands with one brisk stroke upon arrival and departure and make sure to shake hands with everyone.

Latin America
Latin Americans use a light, lingering handshake (about twice as long as an American handshake) and pulling away too soon is interpreted as rejection. A man may offer his hand to a woman, and he may "kiss" the top of a woman's hand.

Europeans
While their handshake is the western style, eastern and western Europeans re-shake hands whenever they are apart for a period of time. For example, it is considered polite to shake hands when you leave for lunch and when you return.

Arab countries
Male friends may embrace and kiss each other on both cheeks following a light and lingering handshake. They also stand very close to one another when talking. If you are a non-Arab woman traveling to an Arab country, let the man offer his hand first because some Muslim men do not shake hands with women. Many Arab business women who often travel to Western countries shake hands with men and women. Let her offer her hand first.

Travel tips that you can't miss!

Let's say you have unused airline voucher, it's going to expire soon and you don't have any travel plan in the near future. What are you going to do? Throw it away like you never had it? Or get a ticket immediately, make yourself a last minute weekend get away trip?

Or, as suggested by George Hobica of airfarewatchdog, you can use that voucher to purchase a full price, fully refundable ticket, and then cancel the ticket, get all your money back. Waalaa... problem solved! How cool is that?

Hobica was joined by Johnny Jet, Kelly Merritt and Mary Forgione at a panel discussion, titled "Cents and Sensibility - Practical Tips to Save Money with Online Travel" at the LA Times Travel and Adventure Show.

Together the panelists shared some really good tips and good deals (websites) for airfares, hotels, travel packages, cruises. Here are a summary/highlights of them:

  • Airfare - sign up for frequent fliers program/e-mail list, this is where you usually get the discount coupons or special price alerts. Some good websites include hotwire, priceline, airfare, yapta, airfarewatchdog. Myth~ good deals start on Tuesday? No, the good deals can come out anytime of the week, so check your email, or follow them on twitter for latest and first hand information.
  • Hotel - other than hotwire and priceline, hotel.com, jetsetter.com, sniqueway.com can be your good sources. For apartment or vacation house, flipkey.com, homeexchange.com are recommended. If you plan to bid for hotel room but not familiar with the whole process, get some insider and useful tips from biddingfortravel.com.
  • Travel Package - some good deals can be found on lastminute.com, lastminutetravel.com. Some of the travel packages are cheaper than your airfare alone, even if you're not going to use the hotel included in your package, it helps save some money for your airline ticket.
  • Cruise - cruisecritic.com, cruisedeals.com. After 911, cruises no longer accept walk-in customer.
  • Luggage - try not to check in any bags. If you have big and over weight luggage, try to ship it with FedEx instead of paying overweight penalty, and chances of missing luggage are lower. Many domestic airlines have started charging for check-in luggage.
  • Travel Insurance - do not get the one offer by your airlines or cruise operators, get a third party insurance services which offer better coverages.

消除汽車內異味法
汽車內若有菸味或霉味,即使用芳香劑也不容易完全消除。可用幾片新鮮的檸檬放在冷氣口,再開啟冷氣,不久就能使車內空氣清淨、芳香。

使鮮花保鮮法
在插著鮮花的花瓶裡,加進一點啤酒可使鮮花的保鮮期延長許多,因啤酒含有乙醇,能使花枝切口,消毒防腐,又含有糖及其它營養物質,能為枝葉提供養份。

蘇打粉可除鞋臭法
將少量蘇打粉直接撤入長筒靴、運動鞋,或常穿而易有異味、溼氣的鞋中,在蘇打粉作用之下,它會吸收溼氣及異味,很快你就會有一雙乾爽的鞋子了。

晒衣夾的妙用
西裝褲的折線:如果歪了或是消失的話,極為難看,所以在燙西裝褲時,可利用晒衣夾,將拉直後的褲管用晒衣夾固定再燙,折線才不會燙歪。

去除水壺內的白色水垢法
燒開水的水壺用久後,壺內會積存一層白色的水垢,很難洗除,不妨利用夜間,在壺內裝滿濃鹽水,再滴上一些醋,泡一個晚上,隔天再用鋼刷刷洗,很容易就可以洗淨。

滅蚊新招
您常被可惡的蚊子叮咬嗎?這裡有一種既經濟環保又有效的滅蚊方法:糖水捕蚊蠅-用空的台灣啤酒瓶(棕色玻璃瓶那種)裝約10cc的糖水,放在桌下或室內蚊子較多處,蚊子聞到甜水味,就會往瓶裡飛鑽,一碰到糖水牠就會被黏住,難以飛出瓶外,經實驗結果,發現平均一晚大約可抓到約5∼10隻蚊子;若把瓶子放於室外,效果更佳,一晚甚至可抓到將近50隻蚊子!

防止眼鏡起霧法
1.把濕肥皂均勻地涂擦在眼鏡片上,稍等一會兒,將鏡片用軟布擦亮。
2.在鏡片兩面均勻地涂抹一層甘油,稍等一會兒,用軟布擦亮。
以上二法可使鏡片遇水蒸氣而不會起水霧。

瓶蓋巧開法
瓶蓋鏽在瓶上,或因旋得太緊而不宜擰開時,可在火上烘烤一下,再用布包緊瓶,一旋即開。

切洋蔥不流淚的秘方
切洋蔥前將洋蔥浸入熱水中3分鐘後,再切即可不流眼淚。

如何在打電話時防止噪音
常常在街頭見到,有人打公用電話,為了防止車輛等造成的噪音,一手掩住耳朵,大聲嚷嚷的情景,用這種笨辦法,仍是聽不清楚對方的聲音,狀似煩噪又不安。其實只要用手掩送話,收聽效果才能更清楚。

吐司去除污垢
外套只要是每天穿,就容易在衣領與袖口堆積頑垢,可利用切得較厚的吐司麵包用力摩擦,即可去除。

絲襪冰過再穿更耐久
婦女買回的絲襪,先不要拆封,直接放入冰箱中冷凍一兩天,再取出放置一天後穿用,這樣可以增加絲襪的韌度,不至於很快就發生抽絲或破裂的現象,不必花費太多的金錢在購買絲襪上。

香水噴蚊子
紗窗外側若有蚊子停留,表示你家已經被蚊子盯住了。如果不趕緊除蚊牠可能伺機而入。別拿殺蟲劑噴,一來可能順風回吹入屋內,對人體有害,二來殺蟲劑會附著在紗網上,異味久久不散。不妨用香水噴幾下,蚊子會隨即墜地,留下的味道至少比殺蟲劑好聞多了。

原子筆墨水還原法
原子筆存放太久未使用,書寫時容易斷墨書寫不出來,不要因此而丟掉。可以把整支筆,浸泡在熱水擦乾,又可恢復昔日的流利順暢。

除霧專家-沐浴乳和洗髮乳
各位開車的先生.小姐們,注意啦!想要在下雨天開車但玻璃又不會起霧嗎?很簡單,只要在出門前拿一塊抹布沾一點洗髮乳或沐浴乳擦車內的玻璃,就可以防一整天的霧了。

如何將蘋果去除表面的蠟
如果您喜歡吃蘋果,然後又常常吃,然後又喜歡連皮一起吃的話,那麼就需要將表面的蠟去除囉...
 (1)將蘋果放進熱水(手可以接受的最高溫度即可),這時後蘋果的蠟會ㄩㄣ開。

減去肚子的脂肪法
許多上班族由於長時間坐在辦公室,且缺乏運動,很容易堆積脂肪在腹部的位置,而腹部脂肪屬深層脂肪,要有效解決,需要多方面的配合。
1.要改變飲食習慣,吃完飯後不要立即坐下或趴睡,最好能保持站立的形式,可以選擇散散步或整理一些東西,如此除了減少脂肪堆積外,還能幫助消化,因為飯後30分鐘內,如果保持不動的狀態,最容易形成腹部脂肪。
2.走姿和坐姿要正確,走路時要抬頭挺胸、擺動手臂,常環抱手臂在胸前,腹肌沒有出力,容易突起,而且擺動手臂走路,不僅消耗更多的能量,看起來也格外有精神。而坐下時,也要讓脊背打直,不要將彎腰或挺腹,如此才能訓練腹肌,使腹肌有力而不易鬆垮。
3.要配合運動,搖搖呼拉圈或隨時做一做仰臥起坐、伸伸懶腰,都能逐漸消除腹部脂 肪,且使腹肌日益結實而不易再堆積脂肪。

別吃太多奶油
根據《泌尿科學》醫學期刊報導,如果要遠離攝護腺腫大,需避免過多的奶油(Butter)和人造奶油(馬格林margrain),因為這兩種食物可能會導致男性的攝護腺腫大。良性的攝護腺腫大是很常見的老男人毛病,年過五十者多會有排尿不順,滴尿或是尿排不淨的困擾,而到了八十歲,幾乎80%以上的男性都會有這種問題,如果不好好注意,可能會演變成致命的攝護腺癌。奶油是西式早餐中常見的添加物,也常見於西式的料理中,國人的飲食慢慢西化,所以接觸到奶油的機會越來越高,前陣子有研究指出多服用維他命C,E有助於攝護腺健康,所以,用一杯果汁和全穀早餐來取代奶油,應該是健康的飲食。

番茄抗癌,不可不吃
番茄抗癌,你知道嗎?紅紅的番茄寶寶能夠預防哪些癌症呢?最新研究顯示,番茄最能夠預防前列腺癌、肺癌、胃癌,對胰臟癌、大腸癌、食道癌、口腔癌、乳癌、子宮頸癌的預防效果也不差。「美國國立癌症研究中心期刊」最新的研究報告指出,多吃番茄能夠防止癌症,這是因為番茄含有維他命A、維他命C、及「lycopene」,能夠以抗氧化的方式預防癌症。番茄抗癌的效果如果這麼好,應該如何吃才能最有效呢?研究人員發現,只要是番茄製品,不論是番茄生吃、番茄汁、番茄醬,只要養成吃番茄的習慣,就可以獲得保健養生的益處。當然,如果能夠生吃番茄,避開加工產品過多的鹽分和油份,番茄的健康效果更能夠有效發揮。

烏青不見法
跌倒「烏青」一大塊又難看又丟臉怎麼辦?把雞蛋煮熟撥殼後在烏青上滾一滾,很快它就消失了,但是蛋也就不能吃了。

少穿高跟鞋
尤其是細高跟鞋,對健康有害無益。據「協助失禁患者協會」的統計報告,穿過高的高跟鞋不但易造成腳踝移位,也可能造成大小便失禁的問題。

豆漿-可預防乳癌
黃豆製成的豆漿香甜可口,含有非常豐富的蛋白質,是我們中國人的牛奶,除此之外,還能夠預防乳癌!根據美國癌症研究協會所召開的會議指出,經常喝豆漿的婦女體內的女性荷爾蒙雌性素(Estrogen)與黃體素(progesterone)都明顯地降低,我們已知雌性素的濃度過高與乳癌很有關係,乳癌的發展與女性荷爾蒙息息相關。研究中讓婦女每天喝下約1000c.c的豆漿,連續達五個月,結果喝豆漿的婦女體內的雌性素濃度比不喝豆漿者低了30-40%。黃豆中已知有一種天然的女性荷爾蒙稱之為soflavone(異黃酮),它與人體的荷爾蒙很相像,有趣的是,它具有雙重的功效,不但能夠占據乳癌的荷爾蒙受體(hormoneeceptor)讓人體的荷爾蒙無法刺激乳癌細胞,另一方免也能夠像人體自然的女性荷爾蒙一樣地防止骨質疏鬆症,這種功效和一種抗癌藥物Tamoxifen極相似,東方婦女通常會食用比西方婦女更多的黃豆,但是隨著飲食習慣西化,年輕一輩的東方女性發生乳癌的機會越來越高,或許這也和黃豆攝取量越來越少有關。男女性都會得乳癌的 ,所以大家要多喝中國牛奶--豆漿。

以鹽洗頭刺激頭髮生長
有禿髮危機的人,不妨試試以下這個簡單的方法,不但可以清潔頭皮污垢,還可刺激頭髮的生長能喔!先以溫水將頭髮沾濕,再以一小匙的食鹽按摩頭部,約2~3分鐘(不要超過3分鐘,以免頭皮刺痛)之後再以清水沖洗乾淨即可。

防止暈車、醉酒法
乘車前,喝酒後,喝一杯滲有幾滴醋的開水,可抑制嘔吐感,精神為之一爽。

熬夜加班有技巧
1. 不要吃泡麵來填飽肚子,以免火氣太大。最好儘量以水果、土司、麵包、清粥小菜來充飢。
2.提神飲料,最好以綠茶為主,可以提神,又可以消除體內多餘的自由基,讓您神清氣爽。但是胃腸不好的人,最好改喝枸杞子泡熱水的茶,可以解壓,還可以明目呢!
3. 熬夜前千萬記得卸妝,或是先把臉洗乾淨,以免厚厚的粉層或油漬,在熬夜的煎熬下,引發滿臉痘痘。
4. 熬夜之後,第二天中午時千萬記得打個小盹。 晚上1:00以後不睡覺,人體的代謝作用由內分泌燃燒,用內分泌燃燒產生的毒素會很多,會使體質變酸,通常熬夜的人得慢性疾病的機率比抽煙或喝酒的人都來得高。所以每天儘量在12:00以前睡覺,不要常熬夜,若非要熬夜,一星期以一次為限!熬夜時不要吃肉,盡量吃碳水化合物,這樣隔天才不至於很累,可把傷害減至最低。

台北醫學院耳鼻喉科李飛鵬李主任表示,台灣最常見跑到耳朵裡的昆蟲以德國小蟑螂最多,且通常發生在睡眠的時候。另外像螞蟻、蚊子也蠻多的。小蟑螂由於體型較大,進入耳道後往往就無法出來,只能一直往前鑽,造成病人耳朵疼痛;螞蟻則是會在耳朵裡亂咬;蚊子進到耳朵裡的情況則較輕微。建議的處理方法,是以溫水(以和體溫相近的水較不會剌激耳朵,太熱太冰的水都容易引起眩暈灌入耳道中,將小昆蟲溺死。昆蟲溺死後不會動,耳朵就不會痛了。再趕快到醫院請耳鼻喉科醫師將昆蟲從耳道中取出。為什麼蟲蟲會爬到床上呢?李醫師說,有些人喜歡在床上吃零食,掉下的碎屑是吸引蟲蟲爬上床的主因。因此避免在床上吃東西,將可預防昆蟲跑到耳朵裡面。

檸檬潔白牙齒有效
任憑你長得多漂亮,張開嘴露出一排黑黃的牙齒,先前予人的美感,為之幻滅。黃色的牙齒,在刷牙後,用紗布沾些檸檬汁,磨擦牙齒,會變得潔白光亮。檸檬的洗淨力強,又有漂白作用,且含有維他命丙種,能強固齒根。

哇沙米殺菌兼具醫療功效

鹽水熱敷消除眼袋法
由於休息不當,勞累過度,睡眠不好,日久天長,人們隨著年紀增長眼瞼慢慢下垂,不由自主在頰部形成眼袋,這是一種衰老的表徵,同時也影響到美容。有兩種秘方可以盡快消除眼袋,不妨一試。
1.瞇眼運動:上下眼瞼有意識的作閉合運動,每天作一百次以上,使眼瞼肌有收縮和放鬆的感覺,目的在消除眼瞼下垂。
2.鹽水熱敷:一杯熱水當中放一茶匙鹽,拌勻後用藥綿吸鹽水敷於眼袋上,冷則更換,反覆做,數天後眼袋將逐漸消失。

水果排毒-體內輕鬆大掃除
排毒是近年來引起熱烈討論的健康議題,隨著愈來愈多的加工食物,市面上也愈來愈多叢書開始教人如何自己在家排毒。別以為排毒工程浩大,其實說難不難,水果也可以排毒,不同的水果排不同的毒,自己在家就能做到。
1.最近市面上十分搶眼的櫻桃,就是很有價值的天然藥食,櫻桃的果肉,能去除毒素和不潔的體液,因而對腎臟排毒具有相當的功效。同時還有溫和的通便作用,選擇時,最好選擇果實飽滿結實,帶有綠梗的櫻桃。
2.一年四季都能吃到的深紫色葡萄,其實也具有排毒的效果,它能幫助腸內黏液組,幫助肝、腸、胃、腎清除體內的垃圾,唯一的小缺點是熱量有點高,40顆的葡萄相當於2個蘋果的熱量。
3.如果怕胖,蘋果也是不錯的選擇,除了豐富的纖維外,它所含的半乳糖荃酸, 對排毒挺有幫助的,而果膠則能避免食物在腸內腐化,選擇蘋果時,別忘了常換換不同顏色的口味,效果更好。
4.在冬季叫好又叫座的草莓,其實也是不可忽略的排毒水果,熱量不高,而且又有維他命C,在自然療法中,草莓可用來清潔腸胃道,並強固肝臟。不過對阿斯匹靈過敏和腸胃功能不好的人,不宜食用。

飯後避免將褲帶鬆開
飯後將褲帶鬆開,會使餐後腹腔內壓突然下降,消化器官(尤其是腸道)容易發生長扭轉,引起腸梗塞,甚至引起胃下垂,出現飯後上腹部不適及不易消化等消化道疾病。因此飯後不宜鬆開褲帶。

治療便秘
清晨起床後,空腹喝一杯淡鹽水,可治療便秘,保持大便通暢。

早餐要吃熱食保護胃氣
最近流行生機飲食,很多人一早就喝蔬果汁,雖說可以提供蔬果中直接的營養及清理體內廢物,但大家忽略了一個最重要的關鍵,那就是人的體內永遠喜歡溫暖的環境,身體溫暖,微循環才會正常,氧氣、營養及廢物等的運送才會順暢。所以吃早餐時,千萬不要先喝蔬果汁、冰咖啡、冰果汁、冰紅茶、綠豆沙、冰牛奶等等,短時間內也許您不覺得身體有什麼不舒服,事實上會讓你的身體日漸衰弱的,這是為什麼呢?吃早餐應該吃「熱食」,才能保護「胃氣」。中醫學說的胃氣,其實是廣義的,並不單純指「胃」這個器官而已,其中包含了脾胃的消化吸收能力、後天的免疫力、肌肉的功能等。因為早晨的時候,夜間的陰氣未除,大地溫度尚未回升。體內的肌肉、神經及血管都還呈現收縮的狀態,假如這時 候你再吃喝冰冷的食物,必定使體內各個系統更加攣縮、血流更加不順,也許剛開始吃喝冰冷的食物的時候,你不覺得胃腸有什麼不舒服,但日子一久或年齡漸長,你會發現怎麼吸收不到食物精華,好像老是吃不結實,或是大便老是稀稀的,或是皮膚越來越差,或是喉嚨老是隱隱有痰不清爽,時常感冒,小毛病不斷,這就是傷了胃氣,傷了身體的抵抗力。因此早上第一個食物,應該是享用熱稀飯、熱燕麥片、熱羊乳、熱豆花、熱豆漿、芝麻糊、山藥粥或廣東粥等等,然後再配著吃蔬菜、麵包、三明治、水果、點心等。

3、屋裏花多眼睛累

6、家用瓷磚,太亮傷眼
白色、金屬色瓷磚反光較強,可能導致近視和白內障,不適合大面積使用。裝修時,最好選擇亞光磚。

7、把陽臺當廚房, 危險
把灶具放到陽臺,冬季容易凍裂管線,引發安全事故;春夏多風季節,容易把火吹滅,造成燃氣洩漏。

8、買傢俱,樣品最環保
傢俱樣品在空氣中置放時間較長,甲醛、苯等有害物質釋放比較徹底;樣品多使用真材實料,有些廠家還會進行除醛處理。

9、裝飾房間,少用油畫
油畫顏料中含有一定量的可溶銻、砷、鋇、鉛、汞、硒等元素,如果被人體過量攝入,會危害健康。

10、床墊別老睡一面
床墊老睡一面容易導致彈簧變形、床墊凹陷,新床墊最好隔2—3個月調換一下正反面和擺放方向。

11、馬桶刷,半年一換
馬桶刷用久了刷毛會脫落,容易藏汙納垢,最好半年一換。如果放在不透風的容器裏,也容易滋生細菌。

12、寵物毛髮,用茶葉末掃
將喝剩的茶葉末瀝幹,灑在地上,再用掃帚打掃,很容易卷走寵物的毛髮,但最好用沖泡多次的茶葉。

13、有抽油煙機也要開窗
抽油煙機雖然能抽走油煙,但並不能抽走燃氣燃燒時產生的廢氣,這種氣體對人體的危害更大。

14、傢俱長蟲,塗點花椒末
遭蟲蛀的木傢俱,可將尖辣椒或花椒搗成末,塞入蟲蛀孔,然後塗抹石蠟油,連續10天即可除蟲。

15、選地漏,不銹鋼的好
鑄鐵、鑄銅地漏表面粗糙、易生銹,且排水量小、流速慢;PVC地漏抗老化性能差,遇冷遇熱容易變形。

16、壁紙,只貼一面牆
壁紙本身及膠黏劑會釋放揮發性有機化合物,所以,不妨只用來裝飾電視牆、主題牆等視覺點。

17、出汗多,用竹炭床墊
竹炭的多孔結構,使床墊可以吸附皮膚排出的二氧化碳、氨及高濕的汗氣,保持睡眠時身體舒爽。

18、房間顏色也能治病
橙色可以誘發食欲,靛藍色有助於減輕患者手術後的疼痛,紫色可以安神、消除緊張情緒。

Free Shipping Day

They really want your money. First we've Black Friday, then Cyber Monday, now we're on Green Monday and by the end of the week you'll see Free Shipping Day. Wouldn't it be nice if we all get day off on these special days?

Apparently Cyber Monday has a new partner, now they are saying today - Green Monday is one of the biggest online shopping days of the year, experts project consumers will spend $1 billion on holiday shopping this day alone! (last year the figure was $854 million)

It was reported eBay came out with the term Green Monday, which referred to its best sales day in December (traditionally the 2nd Monday of December). So if you're not done with your holiday shopping, you're not alone.

While consumers are busy shopping, it's the busiest shipping day for courier companies. FedEx says it will handle 16 million packages today alone, 12% increase over last year.

If you still need a few days to think about what to buy, no worry. Friday (12/17) is the so called Free Shipping Day, many retailers participate in this program but make sure you read the fine print, sometime there are minimum spending before you can enjoy the free shipping.   1. Most people gain 5-10lbs over the holidays - FALSE. The average weigh gain is actually about a pound between Thanksgiving and New Year.
  2. Alcohol burns off in cooking - FALSE. You will not be able to cook or burn off all the alcohol.
  3. You're more likely to die from a heart attack during the holidays - TRUE. The combination of stress and overindulgence may trigger a heart attack. Things that you can do: watch your stress levels, avoid excess alcohol/salt, take a break from shoveling snow, don't delay care.
  4. Poinsettias are not toxic - TRUE. Poison Control Centers have reports of over 20,000 of human poinsettia ingestion with only minor side effects and no death.
  5. Allergies hibernate in the winter - FALSE. Allergies don't hibernate in the winter.

三個半分鐘,三個半小時

科學家經常強調一句話:「人要注意三個半分鐘,三個半小時。」

很多人白天好好的,說晚上死了,有人說,昨天我還見過他,怎麼就死了呢?原因是,他夜晚下床上廁所太快了,突然一起床,腦缺血。

那麼科學家怎麼提出三個半分鐘呢?因為我們在遙控心電圖監測時,發現好多人白天心電圖正常,突然晚上老是心肌缺血,提前收縮,是什麼道理呢?因為,他突然一起床,一下子血壓低了,腦缺血心臟停跳了。

科學家就提出了三個半分鐘:
1. 醒過來不要馬上起床,在床上躺半分鐘;
2. 坐起來後又坐半分鐘;
3. 兩條腿垂在床沿又等半分鐘。

經過這三個半分鐘,不花一分錢,腦不會缺血,心臟不會驟停,減少了很多不必要的瘁死(突然死亡),不必要的心肌梗塞,不必要的腦中風。

三個半小時,就是 :
1.早上起來運動半個小時,打打太極拳、跑跑步,但不超過三公里,或者進行其他運動,但要因人而異,運動需適量。
2.中午睡半小時,這是人生物鐘需要,中午睡上半小時,下午上班,精力特別充沛。
老年人更需要補充睡眠。因晚上老人睡得早,起得早,中午非常需要休息。
3.晚上6至7時慢步行走半小時,可減少心肌梗塞,高血壓發病率。
